Details

The laser carbon scrub is made using the Nd: Yag Q – Switch laser. The skin is covered with a carbon emulsion, and then irradiated with a laser beam, which causes „microexplosions” thanks to which the skin is purified and stimulated to produce collagen. It is a very safe and painless method that brings immediate effect, which depends on the condition of the skin and the problem. The improvement is often visible after the first treatment. Acne, enlarged pores, blemishes are reduced, the color is visibly improved. With each subsequent treatment, the effects become more and more visible.

A consultation with a specialist is carried out before the procedure, where the exact treatment plan is prescribed. The quantity and the interval between treatments depends on the client’s skin condition and expectations as to the effects of the treatment. The package of five treatments performed two weeks apart is very popular.

Contraindications

Pregnancy and lactation, skin diseases in the area undergoing the procedure, skin barrier disruption, taking photosensitizing drugs (some antibiotics, anti-depressants, retinoids), taking photosensitive herbs (St John’s wort, calendula, slimming teas) active acne.

Pre-treatment recommendations

You cannot sunbathe (sun, sun-bed) for 4 weeks before and after surgery. Do not use exfoliation treatments (peeling) for a week before the procedure. If you use drugs: anticoagulants, steroids, photosensitizers, they should be discontinued after the procedure. Do not drink alcohol on the day of the procedure
